Hello, I’m Kali!
Grab a cup of coffee and let’s get to know each other better!
There are two things that I am totally obsessed with. Yup, you guessed it… planners and coffee. I have always been drawn to planners, paper, and pens. (The coffee addiction however didn’t start until I was in my 20s!)
Having used a planner since I was a teenager, you would think my life would have been extremely organized. I thought so too. As a matter of fact, I really struggled with the fact that my life was all over the place. I couldn’t understand how the girl who was obsessed with planners, goals, organization, and productivity could be such a hot mess.
Everything really came tumbling down when I took a promotion at work. I became the manager for the retail store where I worked. There were so many new responsibilities, so many things I needed to learn, and so many people now depending on me.
Things in my personal life just got worse as I took on more responsibility at work. I couldn’t figure out how to manage everything.
I was so overwhelmed. Deadlines were missed, bills were paid late, and my stuff was a cluttered mess.
I struggled hard with stress and overwhelm, but even worse were the feelings of failure.
There were so many times I considered quitting. So many times I wanted to throw in the towel and get rid of my overwhelm by simply walking away.
There was also this yearning for more out of life. I couldn’t believe this was what the rest of my life would look like. I didn’t want to feel like I was forever drowning. There were so many things I wanted to do. Dreams in my heart to live with more purpose and joy. More than just scraping by.
Using my planner during this time in my life wasn’t helping. In fact it seemed to be making my frustration worse. No matter how hard I tried to make it work it just wouldn’t. All it did was add to my feelings of inadequacy and failure.
Then one day I knew, something had to give. I started asking myself the right questions about what I needed help with, and what felt all over the place in my life. I took those answers and used them to find a planner that could help me to get organized, and it changed my life!
I learned so much during that time of struggle.
First, I realized that investing the time to find the right planner for you really does pay off in the long run. Having a planner that has the right set up for your life can make or break your planning success.
Second, I realized that having planning routines can simplify your life a hundred times over. Creating a personalized planning routine is where the magic happens. It is where you go from feeling like a hot mess to feeling calm and in control. Planning routines are what will help you to live with more purpose and make those dreams in your heart a reality.
That’s what I want to help you do! I want to help you organize your life so that you can live with more purpose and joy! I want to teach you the process that it took me years to figure out so that you can skip the struggle and get straight to the results. Anything is possible with a planner and a large cup of coffee! So let’s get started!
